Making an impact locally and globally.

We desire to see people connecting to the mission Jesus sent his people on; to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:20). We want to encourage, inspire, and equip followers of Jesus to not just bring their friends and family to meet Jesus at church, but to take Jesus out into their own context and faithfully, tactfully, and confidently share the gospel. Not only that, we desire to care about what God cares about. That means as a church we need to pursue justice and mercy around the world (Isaiah 58). 

We have been able to offer practical help to those in need in our community in a number of ways. Food drives, buying and distributing raincoats, and making foot care packages for those living on the streets are some of the ways we've expressed our desire to spread the hope and love of Jesus through practical means. Caring for those in need is a regular part of life at Redemption.

We are currently discussing setting up long term partnerships with international ministry and hope to plan an international missions trip in 2015.

Current Opportunity: NightShift

Each month we volunteer to serve a meal in support of NightShift; a ministry who feeds the under resourced in our city 365 days/year. Our turn to help rolls around on the fourth Saturday of every month. If you are interested in serving at NightShift, contact Laurie.
